AGES 2-6
At this young age, treatment and intervention usually revolves around early tooth loss and harmful habits that may develop into more severe problems.
AGES 6-12
Permanent teeth usually come in by age 12. During this stage of development the teeth, jaws, and gums are very responsive to treatment.
AGES 12+
Once all the permanent teeth are in some issues aren’t as easy to fix non-surgically. This is one reason why treating at a younger age can be very helpful in the long term. However, braces can be done at any age; you’re never too old!
ADULT BRACES
There are many options for adult braces. Clear plastic trays or aligners can straighten rotated or crooked teeth. However, brackets and wires are able to fix more than clear plastic trays can manage.
